During 26 walks, Lukas Schmutz records how architects, politicians, urban planners and business leaders experience the current transformation of the cityscape. The change in the city and the movement during the walk influenced the typographic design with the title font running across the spine of the book. The conversations are grouped into five themes, each distinguished by a different colour and introduced by overview maps. We selected the book's materials, paper and printing inks not only for their design qualities, but also with environmental and climate protection in mind. ‘Basel, unterwegs’ is a reader, but at the same time, the small-format softcover book can also be seen as a city guide for on the go.
