This five-volume architectural monograph, produced in collaboration with editor Thomas Durisch, presents over 800 pages of material on the buildings and projects of Peter Zumthor's studio. Page by page, the projects are presented in pictorial essays and explained in detail. Depending on the angle from which they are viewed, the linen fabric of the covers makes the volumes appear light or dark, much like a building in shifting light.
