Gifts from the artist Dieter Roth to friends, often marked with the word ‘souvenir’, are shown in the book with photographs as they were exhibited in the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart and the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart. Thus, the illustrations become souvenirs of the exhibitions. The book was published on behalf of the Dieter Roth Academy with texts by Ina Conzen, Ruth Diehl and Jan Voss.
