For the accompanying publication to the exhibition ‘Striking Patterns – Global Traces in Local Ikat Fashion’ at the Museum der Kulturen Basel, we worked with the museum to arrange the sarongs, shawls and wraps in such a way that the fabrics appear to come alive, as if they were being worn on the body.
